On Friday it was announced that San Antiono Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich would be the coach for Team USA Men’s Basketball from 2017-2020.  This is a great honor bestowed on an already accomplished leader.  This is also a nice announcement for hoosiers.  Gregg was born in East Chicago and played basketball for Merrillville High School before playing for Air Force at the college level.  Slam dunk indeed (or insert your own basketball pun here)
